We established the company to bring the responsibilities of a private home under one management structure.
A private residence involves people, systems, service relationships, projects, and recurring requirements that continue throughout the life of the property. Responsibility for those individual areas is often distributed among specialists and service providers, with the homeowner ultimately responsible for overseeing the whole.
We specialize in the supervision, sourcing, coordination, and follow-through required to manage those distributed responsibilities as one operation.
WHY WE EXIST
Responsibility for a home does not end when the work is assigned.
Scheduling a service, hiring a contractor, or assigning a household responsibility does not eliminate the need for oversight. Work still needs to be planned, information retained, decisions made, completion verified, and future requirements accounted for.
We exist to maintain that continuity of responsibility over time. Rather than treating each requirement as an isolated task, we maintain an ongoing operating understanding of the residence and manage the work within that context.
How we approach the work
ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsibility for ongoing work should be identifiable. We maintain awareness of what requires attention, who is responsible, what decisions remain outstanding, and whether work has been completed.
CONTINUITY
Information about the residence should remain with the residence. Service histories, maintenance requirements, warranties, vendor relationships, projects, and household records are maintained over time.
STEWARDSHIP
The residence is managed with consideration for its long-term operation and condition. Work is evaluated in the context of the property as a whole, rather than only the immediate task.
TRUST & OPERATING STANDARDS
The responsibility requires trust.
Managing a private home requires access to the residence, knowledge of the household, and responsibility for sensitive information and valuable property. Our operating standards reflect that responsibility.
INSURED OPERATIONS
The company maintains commercial insurance appropriate to its management responsibilities.
VENDOR STANDARDS
Service providers are evaluated for suitability, professionalism, relevant licensing and insurance where applicable, and their ability to perform work appropriate to the residence.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Information concerning the residence, household, schedules, service providers, access, and other private matters is treated as confidential and shared only as required to perform the work.
CONTROLLED ACCESS
Access to the residence is coordinated according to the requirements of the household. Vendors and service providers receive access only as necessary for scheduled work, with activity documented as appropriate.
